Nicole May, age 17, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, of a sudden illness at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. She was born Oct. 18, 1984 to Duane J. and Patricia Neeley May in Payson. Nicole grew up in Price before moving to Logandale, Nev., in 1996. She was the junior class president at Moapa Valley School. She was an exceptional student, on the honor society and a candidate for valedictorian. She was active in the dance team, varsity band, and as the wrestling team manager. She was also active in her church, serving in various leadership positions. She enjoyed volleyball, scrapbooking and being outdoors, boating and camping. She loved being with friends and family. She loved her brothers and her sister. She was a bright, beautiful, vivacious young lady, respected and loved by all who knew her. Survivors include her parents, Duane and Trish May; two brothers and one sister, Spencer Duane, Austin Neeley and Amanda, all of Logandale, Nev.; grandparents, Kenneth A. and Della May, Spanish Fork; Parley M. and Rowena Neeley, Orem; and one great-grandmother, Elva Killian, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Logandale LDS Stake Center. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Logandale Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary. |
