It's called "The In The City CD" and it's just a CD with no inlay or accompanying info at all- on the CD itself it gives details of the In The City music conference of 1994. There are 8 tracks, 33:00 total. I'm currently up to track 3, and it's a selection of quite-good-1994-soft-techno, overlaid with _loads_ of speech samples, most of which sound like they might be from a debate between music industry executives- I think I can hear Tony Wilson and Malcolm Maclaren among others. So anyway, two questions, one of which _isn't_ off-topic... 1. Has anyone else got this CD? Does anyone know who's responsible, or what the tracklist is? 2. Why have I got a niggling feeling in the back of my head that there's a connection between the KLF (or K Foundation, or One World Orchestra) and the In The City '94 conference, but I can't remember for sure what the connection is? Actually, track 4's just started and it's a very different style- soft-misery-goth... I don't know about 1994, but Bill and Jimmy appeared at In The City '95. They showed the "KLF burn a million quid" film and took part in a discussion afterwards as to whether the burning was "rock 'n' roll" or not. A CD of the discussion was issued.
