Times New RomanAre you on about the original Doctorin' The Tardis video (the one with Ford Timelord spinning round and round). If so I've got it on a "Now That's What I Call Music" video and I have a TV card so I could put it into MPEG format. (It might be a bit big though to send through e-mail so I'll have to find somewhere big to put it - maybe someone has space on an FTP site? Or I could put it on VCD along with some extra KLF stuff for about 5UKP + P&P). If you're interested e-mail me the resolution (max 640*480, I could do higher but no point 'cos videos have a res of 640*480 max), and audio format you're looking for. Don't forget without Napster you probably wouldn't have AudioGalaxy. I use WinMX (www.winmx.com) which allows you to download files from WPNP, Napster and a load of OpenNap servers and allows downloading of music, videos, zip files, programs, documents, any file on a computer (now aren't the RIAA glad they shut down Napster? Now it's lead to a place where people can pir8 full movies not just music (stupid mother f*ckers jumping out the frying pan into the fire!)). Also with WinMX if the file stops half way through you can continue it or find alternatives and continue it off the alternative. And the good thing is because WinMX will connect to Napster server it's still supporting Napster. Also on Napster their are still quite a few groups that haven't banned their music (yet), The KLF and Gorillaz are available on Napster. I stopped using Napster a long time ago so things may have changed, but the last I heard is that Napster now requires you to upgrade to a specific version before you can download anything (i believe this had some blocking information). A week after applying the new software the entire service went down and, AFAIK, has been down ever since. It's all but dead. AudioGalaxy was around long before Napster. - -paul # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 15 Jul 2001 17:23:19 +0200 From: Ford Timelord Subject: (klf) KLF movies & videoclips Hi, i put up some screenshots from KLF-Movies and -videoclips at http://people.freenet.de/fordtimelord Kompetition is temporarily down at the moment Over and Out # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2001 07:33:33 EDT From: Darrenforster99@aol.com Subject: (klf) Doctorin The Tardis video If anyone wants the Doctorin The Tardis video I've just encoded it from Now 12 video. It's in MPG format and is 4.83Mb (even though it's really small the picture quality is pretty decent (320x180 -16x9 @ 25fps) and the sound quality is near CD (96kbps). If anyone wants it I'll have to find a place to upload it first (finding a place to upload 5mb of MPG shouldn't be too hard!) if you know of a place e- mail me. Also I'm putting it on WinMX for download (http://www.winmx.com), my username is TheKLF99 on WinMX and the video is called The Timelords - Doctorin The Tardis (16x9).mpg, if anyone wants a higher resolution I'll do it on VCD for =A35. I'll also e-mail the location to download it from when I find a place. . # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ End of klf-digest V2 #467 *************************
