Hello everybody,

Im living and working in London right now and wonder how many of you others live in London?

Any ideas on where I can get KLF records except on Berwick street and Notting Hill gate?

Could you tell ne about some clubs that are worth going to? House is the style of music I listen to most right now.

Anyone up for a couple of beers or so just email me or go to the  Marquis of  Granby pub on Rathbone street, just by Oxford street were I work.

Actually I'm keen on knowing some good shops to hit in London (not neccessarily for KLF stuff). I'm heading out there for a few days at the end of October. The only place I really know is Sister Ray and Rough Trade, tho logistically I'm not sure if these are possible to hit due to my limited time there. I think we'll be based in central London mostly. - -paul Currently in rotation: Too Much Joy - various; Wonderlick - self titled; various vinyl tracks I'm cleaning up # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 Sep 2001 07:33:08 +0100 From: "Phil Blake" Subject: RE: (klf) Reckless, London > > Any ideas on where I can get KLF records except on Berwick street and > > Notting Hill gate? > > Actually I'm keen on knowing some good shops to hit in London (not > neccessarily for KLF stuff). Where is it? SHOPS: Middle Street, Croydon, CR0 1RE, London, England. TELEPHONE: 020 8680 1202 FAX 020 8680 1203 EMAIL: shop@beanos.co.u By train from London : From London Victoria Mainline Station (platforms 16-19), take the fast train to East Croydon (15 minutes). Turn RIGHT out of East Croydon Station and follow the tram tracks straight ahead until you reach the main shopping area. With Barclays Bank on your right, head down the hill (Crown Hill), Middle Street is the FIRST turning on the left (before Surrey Street Market). Note: East Croydon Station is only a short journey from London Gatwick Airport on the main London line. By car : Since BEANOS is in the middle of Croydon, you can pick from any town centre car park, you will not be more than 5 minutes walk from us - a good guide is to ask for Crown Hill since Middle Street is off this road. Other ways to get to us : West Croydon Station has a slower link to London but may be more convenient when travelling from the West of London. Croydon is served by numerous bus routes and is on the South London Tram-Link - enquire locally for your best service.
