On the other hand, have people been keeping track of how much all the recent copies of 'K Cera Cera' have been selling for on eBay? (there have been three in recent weeks.) I think they all went for US$50+, which is a bit pricey by my standards... Maybe the compilations people don't think The KLF were important, I suggest we all bombard them with e-mails, letters, faxes, bricks (all the one's that weren't sent to Loch Ness :D) and remind them who The KLF were. I find it amazing most people I know when I mention The KLF they are all like "who are they?" yet when I start mentioning one or two tracks like "3AM Eternal" oe "Last Train To Trancentral" they suddenly know exactly who they are. Maybe the record companies have got the same memory as those people and maybe an e-mail with WE WANT 3AM ETERNAL ON A COMPILATION OF THE 90'S might remind them. It isn't anything to do with their catalogue being cancelled though, as I have seen some of there songs on "DJ Only" compilations from Images (www.images2.co.uk) # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2001 19:22:51 +0100 From: "Darren Forster" Subject: RE: (klf) KLF live > I think that was the only official time they played, apart from chill out > sessions at Land Of Oz. > > The boys have played live - I've got the MPEG to prove it > > (Chipping norton rave + dollar bills ) Didn't The KLF play live at The Barbican as well for ***K The Millennium? # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2001 19:22:46 +0100 From: "Darren Forster" Subject: RE: (klf) "KLF live" > > So, yes, it's a bootleg, and probably not one that anyone but a complete > Kompletist would say "It Must Be Mine!" about. Wasn't the pyramid suppossed to be finished in 2002? Maybe this CD is something to do with B&J but they didn't want anyone to know about it till 2002 (the date when the pyramid was suppossed to be finished) but someone's let it out to the mags. Or maybe it's their way of getting us ready for the new release, and the re-kicking out of the JAMMs? and providing us with all this mystery and have us all thinking wow this is so strange. Or maybe all these bootleg albums that are surfacing could be what B&J meant when they're website changed to "BURNING bridges", maybe they were actually hinting to us that they were BURNING CD's as bootlegs to produce all sorts of mystery surrounding the bootleggers and this new CD that's penetrated the walls of MixMag and Muzik is the greatest mystery of them all. # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2001 21:46:01 +0100 From: "Darren Forster" Subject: (klf) they once killed a cow with a sonic tank ???? Jimmy and his AAA are the ones with the tanks... and there was a news story back in (rough guess) 1996/1997 about him testing his sonic weapon (built from instructions on the 'Net) which scared a pregnant cow so much that it gave birth to a stillborn baby, and the farmer was (quite rightly) furious. Bill may have a farm but it's Jimmy with the tanks.
