I think that if you were to order replacement cowls from Kawasaki they would come without the stickers on it. I bet the stickers probably cost more than the plastic, so it would probably an easy decision to order it without the stickers. If the gas theory is true, I would expect that there would be some staining on the plastic (if it was strong enough to remove the stickers). Just my guess. You are a lucky man to be able to enjoy this sport with your best friend on seperate bikes. The Honda Trail 90 sounds like a good introductory machine. I teach the beginner safety course at the naval base free of charge, but unfortunately I can only teach employees and their family members. No need to fret though, just call 800 CC-RIDER for the nearest Calif. training site. If you haven't taken the basic course I would encourage you to take it regardless of how long you've been riding. I always hear experienced riders say that they benefit from it. I've never had a married couple in one of my classes, but I've heard from another instructor that it can be difficult. If you two decide to take the same class, I would suggest not trying to coach her during the course. Also strongly recommend the Experienced Rider Course. In fact it's been way too long since I've taken it. Time to sign up again. I have managed to successfully run that gas out the next season, but mostly I will siphon all of that gas out and burn it in my cars, motorcycle, lawnmower, whatever. I refuse to take chances with my high-compression marine engine, and I have noticed no adverse affects in the cars. The reason that keep the tank full of gas over the winter is because there would be a huge condensation problem in the tank if I didn't. Anyway, I haven't noticed any problems with using Stabil, as long as its mixed in the right ratio.
