From: "Matthew Dean" Subject: (kw) CD exchanges Date: 01 Feb 2002 16:17:19 +0200 Hi, this is Matt from South Africa! I used to live in The Netherlands, and I had a PC with CD copier. I copied lots of CDs and did many various CD trades throughout the world. Now, I copied a lot of CDs for my then fiancee in South Africa, but now I have emigrated to South Africa myself and we got married, so we don't need the copies anymore; I took all my originals with me. I don't have a PC or copier here in Africa, and it will take a while until I can afford one (remember, I can't just go wild and buy one because there's also a wife to consider!). Hopefully this is soon as I'm missing my copier and just received a tax rebate in Pound Sterling which here in Africa is like gold. However, I want to trade with these CDs that I have copies of. If you would like any of CDs from the list then please e-mail me on mattwerk@hotmail.com and let me know. Because all of the below mentioned have already been copied, it is just a question of popping them into a padded envelope (without jewel cases - it saves lots on weight and they get damaged in the mail anyway). THE CDs I HAVE TO OFFER Kraftwerk: -*1973-2000 (an own collection of tracks, singles - tracklisting on request) -Kraftwerk + Rueckstoss Gondoliere and Stratovarius & Ruckzuck live -Kraftwerk 2 + Klingklang Live -Ralf und Florian + Kohoutek 1&2 and Tanzmusik Live -Autobahn (with cover taken from original LP) + KM2 7", KM live 1975, Autobahn live 1981 -Radioactivity + RA/Antenna 7", live tracks - 3 from 1981 and 2 from 1997 -TEE (English) + Showroom Dummies 7", Hall of Mirrors - Les Mannequins -TEE live -TEE (German) + TEE German 7", Les Mannequins, Schaufensterpuppen 1974 and TEE 1997 -Computerwelt + PC (Eng), Numbers 7", Dentaku, HC (English), Mini Calculateur, CW rare 12" -The Mix (German) + Robotnik and E2K -The Mix (English) + Robotronik and E2K Various -*A-Ha - Hunting High and Low + other 80s tracks -Can - Tago Mago -Depeche Mode - Speak And Spell + Bonus tracks -Depeche Mode - Construction Time Again -Depeche Mode - A Broken Frame -Depeche Mode - The Singles 81 - 85 -Depeche Mode - Black Celebration -Depeche Mode - Violator -Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion -Depeche Mode - Ultra -*Duran Duran - Decade + extra track + extra Spandau Ballet tracks -Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Welcome To The Pleasuredome -Johnny And The Hurricanes - Best Of (ORIGINAL) -*Madness - Divine Madness -Manic Street Preachers - Everything Must Go (ORIGINAL) -Neu! - Neu 2 -Pet Shop Boys - Discography -Police - Greatest Hits -Take That - Best Of (sick - ORIGINAL) * = no cover - only tracklisting and CD WHAT I WOULD LIKE IN RETURN -YAMO - Time Pie (sorry Wolfgang but I just CAN'T find it in Africa, unless you want to send me a copy?) -DEPECHE MODE - 101, pre-Speak and Spell material -EMINEM - Infinite -JAMIROQUAI - any concerts or rarities bootlegs -JEAN MICHEL JARRE - Rarities 2 and 3 (and an explanation where the songs come from) -JOHN LENNON - Anything except Imagine and Legend -KRAFTWERK - Trancewerk Express (not volume 1) -KRAFTWERK - a good quality concert, preferably 1970s or with something rare like for example Polish/Italian Pocket Calculator (not 1981, not 1997-8). Maybe Utrecht 1981 if it's good quality? -KRAFTWERK - Man Machine 7" B-side, TDF 2e Etappe, Metropolis Alternative 12" B-side, Techno Pop Espanyol, Showroom Dummies 12" mix -BEATLES - any special bootlegs, rarities, Beatles For Sale, With The -Beatles, Beatles for Xmas -MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND - anything -Otherwise, just tell me what you can copy for me as I would also like -different, new music too! Because I am trying to clear these CDs, although I've always traded on a 1:1 basis (so you copy for example 4 CDs and I send you 4 CDs), I will include an extra CD. If you choose a Kraftwerk one, I'd add one from the 'various' of your choice and vice versa. Please note I will not charge money at all - it is purely a swap. And when I eventually get my copier... suddenly 200 titles will be available to copy too... Does anyone know who actually sings The Model from The Man Machine. It says in the cover that Ralf and Florian both do vocals, but I want to know if they sing or if they got someone else to sing for them. Thanks for any help. _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info kraftwerk" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email kraftwerk@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # Other questions? The music has a strong influence from 70s German techno. Incidentally, it is possible that Tenniswood has taken the name Radioactive Man from Bart Simpson's favourite comic.
