He makes jazz, swing and bop by playing instruments as sax (alto) and clarinet. One of Sweden's top jazz musicians, Arne Domnerus led his first group in 1942, made his earliest recordings in 1945 and led his first record sessions in 1949. An altoist who combines together Johnny Hodges and Lee Konitz and an excellent swing clarinetist, Domnerus has led combos for over 45 Years and worked steadily with the Swedish Radio Band and its successors. He has made many recordings for Swedish labels including Phontastic.
