But he isn't, is he? He just quit a band he was in, like 14 years ago. No big deal. The book, anyway, tells small personal memories from Flürs time with he band. Nothing technical, mostly feelings. Quite nice, but no atom bomb. - --- Johnn Andersson wrote: > is it worth > 25$? or is it just a lot of rubbish about Wolfgangs > personal problems?, do I want to know the things > about KW that he writes? You're a freak. Traitor, my ass. Here we have Fluer sitting around for five years or something, waiting for the two "important" band members (you know, the ones that didn't just play "electronic percussion") to get off their cans and do something new. And when it comes time, they say something like "hey, let's redo some old material"... pure rubbish. No credit for Karl or Fluer. No credit and no means of adding any creativity. A traitor? Perhaps just a revolutionary. No matter how obsessive anyone on this list may be about Kraftwerk, it would be sad to hear any of them say that Time Pie was an equal or less creative and attractive work as Expo... ha. I plan to buy the book; expecting nothing more than it's worth. I figure it might be Fluer's way of stating he's not just one who played the "electronic percussion." The cover picture of the band is replaced by a familiar 'Yamo' shot. Meanwhile, Amazon USA still has the old title and cover on display. Perhaps Kraftwerk's imagery is more contestable than their name, in the UK...? And maybe things will become clearer when I actually get round to ordering a copy. :-) KB # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info kraftwerk" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email kraftwerk@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # Other questions? You can download the mp3's from my ftp-server at 130.89.231.149, port number 21, user karlbartos, password palladium.
