I just received a 13 song 2-CD set of the Elektric Music concert at the Arvika Festival on July 23, 1994. The person I got the show from (thanks Robert! :-) ) unfortunately doesn't have a tracklisting, and I don't recognize some of the songs. Apparently they're songs that were never released, because they don't appear on either of Karl's Elek(c)tric Music albums. Does anyone else out there have this particular concert and have the tracklisting for it? Thanks! Jason Nuckels P.S. Im a massive Kraftwerk fan from Glasgow, Scotland and Ive been listening to Kraftwerk since I was 16. They influenced me so much that when I heard 'Autobahn' for the first time I decided to abandon my education and become a musician!! In Glasgow there is not a lot of Kraftwerk fans because when I tell someone about who I listen to, they always say ' who????' Anyway, Its good to be here and if anyone wants to listen to my KW influenced music go to http://www.mp3.com/mainevent Regards main event ' In front of the loudspeaker everyone is equal' http://www.mp3.com/mainevent _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info kraftwerk" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email kraftwerk@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # Other questions? That slower, more melodic version is nothing like the Electric Cafe MNS, but has a similar feel to the Technopop demo. Could it be another remnant from the 1983/84 work? Also, regarding the re-release of the very early albums, AFAIK the masters are/were owned by Polygram. They used to also own the Autobahn recordings but R&F bought the rights back in the 80s so they could re-release it through EMI (it had been deleted by Vertigo in the early 1980s). Maybe they have now done the same with Ralf & Florian, but I remember them once disdainfully describing those pre-Autobahn recordings as "archaeology" (i.e. something old, to be buried?). Also also, do those three 1998 concert recordings (so-called Innovation I, II, III) exist on bootlegs? I downloaded them from the www and like them -- especially #2 -- but should I be looking out for a particular CD at record fairs?

Could it be another remnant from the 1983/84 work? afaik , it was recorded to appear as a jingle ( or small trailer ;-) on mtv & iirc it was also recorded at axis ( THE studio ;-) in n.y.c. around the same time they (re)recorded the complete "electric cafe" album there too !!! ;-) > do those three 1998 concert recordings (so-called Innovation I, > II, III) exist on bootlegs? again ... afaik , YES_!!! ;-) but the sound quality isn't any better than of the one u have already downloaded from the www ... wherever , simply because there are NOT_MUCH diff'rent "sources" of that particular trax !!! *sly_grin* ;-) > I downloaded them from the www and like them -- > especially #2 -- but should I be looking out for a particular CD > at record fairs? fyi : "innovation II" - or whatever it was called somewhere else ;-) - is THE track , who'll supposedly be released as kw's new single "phonetic visions" ...
