Here we had 5 undergrounds at 1991 to 1994, but now we have only two at S=E3o Paulo, so Autobahn Project is now only a page and a Radio program based on technopop, goth, Kraftwerk, Trisomie 21, Poesie Noire and elses... I'd imagine that most of us out here own it in addition to the English language version. As far as the availability of the German version, they've been stocking regular quantities of the 'Computerwelt' CD in HMV Records here in the USA for a couple of months now, and of course 'Other Music' in New York City has been carrying most of the German language titles for quite some time now. Naturally, the price is considerably higher than that of a normal CD since it's an import. But no, it's not what I'd consider a rare find at this point. >I also grabbed a cleopatra release of The Model - Best of Kraftwerk 1975-1978 >I didn't have it in my collection with that cover. I do have a Kraftwerk >the Model CD, but different cover, will ahve to compare track list to see if >they are identical Yup, they are identical. Cleopatra just decided to release it with different artwork hoping to move more copies of it out of their warehouse. I also have both versions of it. By the way - check out your version of 'The Model' CD with the pictures of the 4 band members on the cover, and lift up the black plastic CD tray that the disc sits on. If they're still making them the same way, you should find an image hidden behind the black CD tray. It's the infamous picture of the 4 KW dummies' silhouettes standing at their equipment consoles with the 4 names in neon lights on the ground before them. I don't know why they didn't release this with a clear tray instead of a black one. I substituted a clear CD tray in mine and it looks ten times cooler now. :)) - -- Scott nebulous@erols.com "Wir sind die Roboter..." # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Email majordomo@xmission.com with "info kraftwerk" in the message. # Postings must go to kraftwerk@xmission.com -- replies go to original sender. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Sep 1997 23:29:41 +0100 From: jbv Subject: Re: (kw) Kraftwerk Article at Posthof Web-Server Alexander Peter Zillner wrote: > > Hi! > > The guys at Posthof are updating their Web-Server almost every day. > Now we can see a small article about kraftwerk in german and also a > kraftwerk quicktime clip, with an animation, I have never seen before... > just another piece of crap : some cheap use of Photoshop plug-in inside Premiere or similar software.
