Talbert" Subject: (kw) resonance.underground.musik.lab: UPDATES! Hello all!! The Resonace Underground site has been updated!!! There are now FOUR new Kraftewrk MIDI files including, for the first time *anywhere* on the web A MIDI version of the *KRAFTWERK'S NEW SONG* (preview version)!! Short but sweet! Here's a complete updated list of what MIDI files are available: - Mystery Song (NEW) - Pocket Calculator (NEW) - Music Non-Stop (LIVE Mix) (NEW) - Computer World 2 (NEW) - The Model - Airwaves - Robotronik - Electric Cafe - The Man Machine - Tour De France If you want all the files at once, there is zip compilation also (kraftmid.zip) And should you wish to use any of these on your web page, feel free to do so. Just drop me a note so I'll know. Be sure to check out the audio page, too. There are some new songs by EFOFEX, Safetyville, Time Traffik and, finally on line: C.A.M. (Computer Assisted Music) The audio section will be getting quite a few updates in the near future as many people seem to really enjoy the music there. There have also been requests for ISDN audio - that's coming up also. You'll also want to hear the EFOFEX simulation of the famous Kraftwerk opening prologue! This one's creepy! So be afraid - be very afraid... ;) Oh one more thing that might be a tad bit important... I've finally added (under extreme guilt) a real audio version of Kraftwerk's NEW song IN FULL from Tribal Gathering '97. So far its only 28.8, mono (which should stream pretty nicely). Perhaps an ISDN version will be added later for download. Better go listen to this now, before the guilt kicks back in and I remove it! :) (BTW: The guilt is because the sound quality of the source was not too great and I believe Kraftwerk really deserve a better representation of their latest masterpiece!) So anyway take care, everybody! Sascha's from Dusseldorf and, supprise supprise, the interviewer asks 'the inevitable Dusseldorf question' 'Have you met Kraftwerk?' 'No', replies Sascha, 'but I have had quite a few meetings with their producer Chris Garland' Now this the million dollar question - who is Chis Garland? Hi everybody out there! Has anybody good experiences in bootlegging a Kraftwerk-concert? I would like to take photos at the Linz concert, but don't know how/where to hide my camera at the body. I also don't know if I should just take a small compact-camera or a mirror-reflex? The problem is the heavy body-check at Kraftwerk-concerts... . Please take a look and make tour comments on errors, typo's and others things, in order for me to make it the most complete list of Tourdates available. The problem with this is that you need 3 or more people to accomplish this. The high quality cameras, you can take off the main lens and the flash, and have members of your party carry individual parts in. Same with a good audio recording system. One person cary the mikes, another carry the deck, another with spare tapes, ect. I've had limited sucess with my bootlegging system. A handheld PDA computer and alot of Flash RAM. Once person carry in the PDA, claiming to be a reviewer, and the PDA is to 'take notes' that always works. Another person would stuff the four 64mb Flash RAM cards in there wallet. and another person with the mikes and various adapters. I have tested it at local concerts (with much heavier security then Kraftwerk would ever have) and the system worked every time. The final exam for this system will be at Karlsruhe. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Email majordomo@xmission.com with "info kraftwerk" in the message. # Postings must go to kraftwerk@xmission.com -- replies go to original sender. ------------------------------ End of kraftwerk Digest V3 #150 ******************************* To subscribe to kraftwerk Digest, send the command: subscribe kraftwerk-digest in the body of a message to "majordomo@xmission.com".
