Yes and nope. Jarre recorded a disc in 1983 named "Music for Supermarkets" limited to ONE copy. The copy was sold out in an auction and the matrix was destroyed. Anyway, a big part of this album is actually available in works as Zoolook (Diva -witthout Laurie Anderson-, Blah Blah cafe) or Rendez Vous (5th rendez Vous sequence). > Is this the same story ? I think that eys, cause Jarre did it once. > BTW, did I tell you about the day I interviewed Jarre in his own house ? Hehe... many people in the Jarre Mailing List are preparing his tomatos for next concert in Lille since we've realized that the web-banning order comes directly from him :-(. Look at: http://www.iddn.org/jarre/jarre_mission.htm and you'll see. For your information I've heard that webrestrictions (censure) only concerns to audio material (no audio+pictures as told yesterday). So since 2 days ago, mid's, mod's, mp3's, etc... with music by Jarre are completly banned in the net. Personally, I've removed the background music on my site (Oxygene12.mid) and I've replaced it with Popeye's music. Actually, some people is posting UUencoded Jarremidififes to the jarre.com guestbook. Hope never happens something like that in the Kraftwerk scene....... ;-| Miguel. wwWWww [o][o] - ------------------------ooO--(__)--Ooo----------------------------------- Fairlight Jarre Newsletter. My name is Nathan and I presently live in NY. I have been listening to KW since the 80's, consciously. Consciously? Yes, as in I knew it was KW. Subconsciously, probably since the 70's. I remember in the late 70's around the age of 8-9 years old, while living in Puerto Rico, a TV station used an excerpt from "Spacelab" as background music for their station identification. It was followed with a graphic of a space satellite flying through space. I think it was El Breve channel 4. I of course, did not realize this until two years ago. I spent my teen years in the South Bronx around the time KW was in our techno breakdancing revolution. At the age of 12, I remember watching the movie "Breaking" which showcased a song that was just right for breakdancing: Tour de France. Just dope! In any event, I did not realize this until about a year ago. I just recently purchased Radiactivity on Vinyl for 7US dollars at a record dump shop in Albany, NY. Don't have a turntable to hear it yet. I have been going through this techno rennaissance. It is nice!
