Unfortunately, I'm leaving on the 3d of April, so I'll likely miss it, bad luck. Anyway, hope the lads have a good time, as I am sure they will, but the show might have to be done sans the kind weed...kinda tough over here, not cuz it ain't here, but because one might not want to risk it. However, if there is a need, just head to an area that is a little out of the way (not a prime foreigner area, but this is just my preference, as I figure you've got less chance of trouble this way) and look for some of these Middle-eastern-looking (please people don't lambast me on that one!) guys selling food on the street. They are from Xinjiang province, and seem to be in the know about such things...keyword: da ma (short a, like fa-la-la). I had no troubles the one time I went this route in Shanghai, however I am by no means an expert in such procurement methods. Also often customs is absurdly lax.. BTW has anyone heard of a Chinese group called Supermarket? I haven't found their CD yet. They are supposed to be electronica, but I know nothing else. Anyone?
