They were out of this world. I have never seen them and have only listened to them a little, so was not knowing what to really expect, I got way more than could have hoped for. They had so much energy, and such a mix of instruments and styles all at the same time, it was almost to good. This despite the mix up on the schedule as to what day and what stage they would play on. They ended up stuck on a stage that did not have enough power to support all the mikes and instruments, and mixer, the sound went out 3 times, but to their credit they kept playing, even though you could only hear them if you were right up front. The best part was how the crowd stuck with them they were so good, we wanted to stick with it until they could get the power on again. I think the crowd was more into it when the sound was out, then when they were up and running. I think it is a mark of true talant that you can keep 100's of people going just by your presence on the stage and you willingness to make what you have work, no matter what is going wrong. It was almost other worldly watching them in the dark, with a slight breeze, and a light rain, and people dancing with fire on the outskirts of the crowd, and watching the crowd and how into it they were. The best part was watching this little girl 5 or 6 right next to me just get lost in the music, she was not even aware of who was around her, she was so intent on the music and just moving to it, it was a very beautiful thing to be a part of. Children are so uninhibited, they just don't care, they enjoy the moment, that is what I am taking away from the whole experience, try to get some of that unihibitedness back. Now whenever I hear Trans-Global, I will be reminded to be more childlike. I did get there new CD after the show, "Yes Boss Food Corner" I would recommend it, even if I had not seen them live, and enjoyed the experience so much, I would still be into the CD. My opinion is not worth much, but thought I would share all the same.
