Change your password

Note: This form sends your information using a secure encryption method called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), making it very safe. For more information about your password at XMission, refer to our Password Questions and Answers page.

DSL users: Change the password in your DSL router when you change your XMission account password.

Important: Passwords must meet the following requirements:

  1. Each password must be between 6-16 characters. (Please note that some of your software may not work with passwords over 8 characters.)
  2. Passwords must contain at least two alphabetic letters and one numeric, or special, character. By “alphabetic” we mean all upper and lower case letters.
  3. Each password must differ from your login name and any variation of it.
  4. New passwords must differ from the old by at least three characters.
  5. Password changes require 15 minutes to take effect within our system.
