At A, pick up fresh looking tracks.
At B, see two bison across the valley. Suspecting they are the ones I am tracking, go for a closer look. See img 1248
At C, see that they are two bulls. see img_1250. Work my way back across the creek to the original trail, which hits a bed area, then down across the creek again and up the mountain. Hit the spot in img_1258 at D.
At E, finally catch up with them, but in the trees, so they hear me before I see them. They run off, I only get a brief look, one bull, two cows. I keep following the trail, but at F, I see them running fast clear the other side of Dark Canyon (out of frame to the right), so I give up for the day.
