Taken from camp. Started actually the other side of the ridge, then crossed over. At A, saw the herd ahead of me in the trees, but could only see thier legs. They crossed over into the valley on the other side, and thats where I got the shot around B. Shots img_1298 and img_1299 were taken there.
She then walked back to the beds, and onto thier previous trail, up the hill thru the same open ponderosa park I tracked them thru on the 16th, and out into the open. Shot img_1300 was taken at C. I did catch up once in the trees below this, but only for a moment.
Across the chaining, then down a steep game trail to the bottom of the canyon, img_1301 taken in the bottom near D. Up the other side, and across Star Flat. Img_1303 was taken at E. She came to the cliff and stopped at F img_1304 (N38°07.489' W110°51.986').
I then walked down the mountain behind a ridge, so you can't see it from here. Total, about 10.5 miles.
