Available Mercenaries, Turn 9
Please check out the rulebook (5.5) and online
A Twilight of Empires addenda regarding mercs - note also the
exciting recruitment rules.
Keep in mind you may only hire mercenaries at appropriate sites within
their geographic zone of availability. For example, if you wish to hire a band
of warriors from, say, the China merc pool, you will need to have access
to a site within the China geographic zone. This means the Kingdom of
Yemen would have a rough time hiring them ... Zone boundaries will be
interpreted generously. Within a
given zone, troops and leaders may be hired in any mixture desired.
Bidding: Minimum bid is 0.5gp per unit, 12gp per leader (guard
comes with leader), one turn only. The sources
and notes for each may in rare cases have an effect on performance.
