Yesterday arrived here the Ship London Merchant, Capt. Thomas, and the Ship Simond, Capt. Cornish, both from Georgia, from whence we hear, that when Mr. Oglethorpe went up Allatamaha River to Barnwells Bluff where the Highlanders are settled, he put on a Highland Dress, with a Bonnet, Target, Plad, Broad-Sword, Pistols, &c. which so disguisd him, that the Highlanders, who had hear of his coming, cried out, when he was among them, Where is Mr. Oglethorpe? Where is Mr. Oglethorpe.

RUN away in June last, from on board the Ship Baltimore, in Chester-River, Maryland, two Scots servant men: One named Thomas Wilson, a short well made man, and has been in the army: had on a plad jacket and breeches, yarn hose, check shirt, a blue bonnet, or new felt hat, his hair turned up with a comb which probably he has cut off: he other named Stewart, but is supposed to have taken the name of James Borson, a low sized thick made young man, fresh complexion, bushy hair: had on a light coloured frize coat, blue halt thick jacket, ozenbrigs Trowsers, white shirt, new felt hat, old shoes, worsted stockings, wears often a black ribbon round his neck. Whoever secures said servants, so that they may be had again, shall have Forty Shillings Reward, and reasonable Charges, paid by John Drummond, at SassafrasFerry, in Maryland.

RUN away from the subscribers, the 22d of November last, from the Horse and Groom, at Marcus Hook, as they were taking them down the road from Philadelphia, two indented servants, viz. JOHN WILLIAMS, an Englishman, about 5 feet 4 inches high, 40 years of age, was bred to the sea, writes a good hand; had on, when he went away, an old blue jacket, check shirt, old sailors trowsers, a chip hat, and a wig. JOHN CAMPBELL, born in Scotland, brought up to the sea, about 5 feet 7 inches high, 21 years of age, talks broad Scotch, and speaks a little thick; had on, when he went away, a blue bonnet and jacket, black breeches, and stockings, new shoes and check shirt. Whoever secures said servants, in any of his Majesty's goals, so that their masters may have them again, shall receive a reward of Four Pounds, and all reasonable charges (or Forty Shillings for either of them) paid by us, in Fourth street, between Spruce and Walnut streets, Philadelphia,

RUN away from the subscriber, living at Christiana Ferry, in New Castle county, on the 8th of this instant June, a servant lad, named WILLIAM PHILLIPS, about 5 feet high, 19 years of age, pockmarked, a flat nose, of a brown complexion, has the mark of a cut of an axe on his right foot, and walks a little lame; had on, when he went away, a striped linen jacket, without sleeves, and a striped linsey ditto, with sleeves, a coarse homespun shirt, woollen trowsers, with a patch on each knee, and a blue Scotch bonnet; he says he has been to sea with Captain Macpherson; it is likely he will endeavour to go to sea again, to make his escape, therefore all masters of vessels are forbid to carry him off. On Monday last arrived the ship Pearl, Captain Tucker, in 6 weeks from Fort William, in the Highlands of Scotland, with a great number of very respectable passengers full of health, and ready money to purchase each man his freehold. They are justly esteemed a great acquisition to this province, in some part of which they propose to settle. --- There are in the whole above 280 souls, all of them, about a single score excepted, of the clan of McDonald, coming chiefly from famed Lochabar and Glenmuir.
