MtMan-List: Help....is there a gunsmith out there?

I've been at this buckskin'n for 23 years and this is a first.  After a
shoot yesterday, I was cleaning my old percussion..the patch got jammed
at the bottom of the barrel, just like it's done a hundred other times. 
Since I was in my shop, I put the rod end in a vise and tugged gently. 
Usually it pops right out...this time the brass pin holding the tip on
sheared off.  Now I have about 3" of brass and a tight patch tight in
the bottom of the barrel.  I have my doubts that the breech plug would
ever turn out after 23 years.   Any help would be greatly appreciated
