TRANSCRIBER'S NOTES:
  1. I have transcribed double s (written fs) as ss
  2. Fractions are transcribed with a dash for clarity ie, 2-1/2, which were typically written with large "2" small "1/2".
  3. I have added $ in front of all costs for clarity. The account book uses the $ sign only on the first entry.
  4. The abbreviation for "ditto" is transcribed as "Do."
  5. I have been as exact as possible in transcribing upper-lower case and the use of "Do."
  6. The account book is divided into 3 columns: for Quantity-Description, Cost-each, Total.
  7. In some cases the arithmetic is not correct. The numbers have been transcribed as-is.
