A series of generative pieces that were performed in the control room of the Trevor Jones Studio in York, UK, in four improvised sessions (02,03,18 and 20 of March). The focus was on how sound alters the aesthetic and physical qualities of the site and how it challenges its functionality. It was an attempt to establish a sonorous architecture within the room. All these efforts were scholastically recorded, so one could end up with brand new stand-alone fixed media works. REVIEWS ‘powerful in all its roughness but also in all it's silence [..] forces itself upon the listener and pierce in your head. Great!’ Frans de Waard (Vital Weekly) ‘first ask yourself how far you're willing to go into the realm of sound for its own sake, and realize this is about as far in as it's possible to go’ Josh Landry (Musique Machine)

On 2013-03-09 00:00:00, 'Don Poe, EAR/Rational Staff Reviewer' gave the following review:
Drones and air. Very open sounding drifts of sound holding sounds over periods of time. Subtle shifts like glacial ice shimmer through the cloud of sound. I wonder if some of the sounds are manipulated mechanical things, but, overall the experience is very organic and tangible. I'd say no synths were used here. As the disc goes on the sounds become more harsh. High pitched feedback is presented on track 5, and tracks 6-7 are also short more hectic pieces. The final track, number 8, reverts back to the spacious long ambient drones. Overall a very nice disc for those of the drone mind.
