| Beau's Mom picked him
up and carried him into their home. She fixed him a special dinner,
then carried him into the living room. She petted him and brushed
him and talked to him. She told him that he must never leave
the house again, that he looked like he'd had a terrible time, and that
it wasn't safe out in the world for cats.
And as for Beau, he knew he would be very happy from now on, staying safe, and warm, and comfortable in his own home, with his own Person to take care of his every need. |
