| Beau heard a couple of
tiny squeaks and looked down. A MOUSE! But ... what a funny
looking mouse. And those tiny squeaks - he could understand them!
"Hey, we gotta get up on that ledge. Hurry, pick me up - jump up there!" "Why?" mewed Beau. "We'll DROWN, that's why!!! Hurry! Can't you hear the water??" Beauregard picked the odd-looking mouse up gently in his mouth, and nimbly jumped onto a ledge. Within seconds, he was VERY glad that he did! |
