| Beau and Clancy walked
on through the woods, moving slowly because of Clancy's injuries from the
experiments. Soon they came upon a big creature - he looked like
two animals that Beau had seen early in his travels, except this one was
bigger and had big horns.
They asked him if he knew of the cabin where Clancy's people lived. The elk gracefully turned his head and pointed his antlers, said, "Just past those trees," then went back to munching tufts of grass. |
