COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:

Coordinated the installation of an innovative receiving station consisting of remote terminals that access a Burroughs mainframe computer through a Tandom front-end processor for a modern warehouse. Installed a prototype barcode inventory system that allows management of a multi-million dollar inventory of critical nuclear submarine parts. Managed the installation of an Electronic Point of Sale computer system that interfaced with a Burroughs mainframe computer. Authored a computer application that is used by every unit in the U.S. Navy. Manage a Local Area network running under a Novell operating system. Extensive experience with all facets of Internet, including WWW, Telnet, FTP, Gopher, and HTML language.

INSTRUCTOR:

Instructor for Valdosta State University. Adjunct professor for Brenau University and Georgia Military College. Taught many courses for Brunswick College. Teach a total of 19 different computer courses from undergraduate to graduate level.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT:

Office manager and personnel manager for an organization consisting of over 5200 military personnel. Supervised personnel performing typing in a word processing center, general clerical personnel, and administrative personnel. Planned and organized office operations. Wrote office operating procedures, position descriptions, and directives. Coordinated administrative activities with other organizational elements and staff sections. Served as custodian of classified documents. Inspected administrative activities of other staff elements and subordinate units and made recommendations for elimination of deficiencies or improvement of administrative operations. Processed personnel actions, separations, promotions, and other personnel management type functions.

Associate of Science Degree in Accounting, Brunswick College. (Graduated with Honors) Bachelor of General Studies Degree with a concentration in Business, Valdosta State University. Master of Public Administration Degree, Valdosta State University.
