Gero and Mario!
Gero (on the left) comes from family! Anyway, all
of my screenshots of Gero came out wierd, so I thought I'd use this
portrait I did online of he and Mario on my whiteboard until I come up
with a real picture! This was drawn in response to a portrait Gero did of me!

These folks are part of the Maura and Paolo!
I'm pretty sure Maura and Paolo come from
Portofino. In any
case, they're real friendly folks. They're always willing to give audio
a shot on CU-SeeMe (which usually seems to be a lost cause from Italy),
and once in awhile I can even make them out! I hope we can really talk
someday! They have a bed in the same room as their computer, and Maura
will go jump around on it for you if you ever mistake it for a drafting
table! Really nice people.
Portrait of me by Gero!
I really have mixed feelings about this portrait. I'll give Gero the
benefit of the doubt, though - I'll assume most of those bits flying
through cyberspace that happened to represent my hair somehow got lost
before they made it to his monitor. His The Merella family!
This is Gero, his wife Anna, their daughter Federica and dog Birillo! Is he a proud father,
or what? He and Anna let Federica stay up a little late one night just
so she could to say
"hi" to
me, so I grabbed this shot while I could. Anna is very patient using her
English dictionary when she talks to me! They're all great friends.
