About Pair Picker
Well, Pair Picker's really all about motorcycle oil filters and
stuff. See, I kind of initiated development of Pair Picker as I was learning Mac programming,
so my initial intent was just to treat the game as a programming exercise. Not too long after
that I dropped some SERIOUS cash on the aformentioned two wheeled vehicle - so I decided
some spare cash was, like, a really appropriate thing. By that time I'd rewritten the whole
sucker a few times, and was beginning to think I'd earned the right to ask for money, irregardless of what anyone actually thought of the game. By the way, irregardless IS a word.
At any rate, here it is. It's pretty much modelled on the old card game "Concentration." Although there are probably about 200 Mac games built on the same premise, only this one (to my knowledge) generates proceeds to lubricate a 1350 CC engine. How can you say no to that?
Oh, and here's some stuff you might care about - Pair Picker 1.0 runs on any Mac running System 7.0 or greater. And did I hear someone ask "Who's the dude with a head shaped like a cigarette butt that you have plastered all over this page?" Oh - I'm sort of close to him because he's the first of the 52 graphics I created for the game... so, he's on the icon, all the PR stuff, etc., etc. Although, I forgot to give his 3D rendered version hair, and I forgot the band on his hat - oh well, maybe someday.
