This is on a 2001.7 2500, 4x4, Long bed, 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel, 47RE auto trans, 3.54 rear w LSD, Big-O 265/16E tires. I try to fill up at Maverik, Flying J, and Chevron with the pump on the highest setting every time I fill up. When the pump clicks off, I stop and do not top off. My overhead trip computer usually reports .5 - 1.0 miles per gallon less than my calculations. The tenths of a mile are taken from the trip counter on the odometer, which I reset manually every fill-up. |
