I received kit #4 of 50 autographed by the creator!
An enjoyable kit that's an easy skill level 3 (the epoxy might be the hardest thing?)
Not too hard, but lots of detail that kept me and my imagination busy for quite some time!
Finally decided to build it 11/13/2005.

Below are some select build pics. There's a bunch of  raw pics here.

Kit #4!

I've never seen so many parts before!

Cast-resin parts were cool!

Crew compartment end w glued paper shroud and 90# Kevlar anchor:

Business end before fin assembly:

Darth Vader Shuttle Wanna-be!

I got too excited and glued the BT-80 main ring on too early! DOH!

All glued/epoxied together: crew compartment, fuel rod, sensor pod, and communications dish

Ready to add details

"Orbital Maneuvering Engines" on the midsection, and cooling lines?

I just had to use these "Attitude Control Engines" on the crew compartment - very cool!
Hope she still flies well!

Is there such a thing as too much details!?

(how 'bout too much glue! :Þ )

It's hard to take good pics of this all white model!

3 coats of Krylon Pewter Gray #1606 paint. Used Liquid Decal Film, Micro Sol and Set for that "painted" on decal look!

All ready for clear coat

Painted inside of engines orange. Painted radar dish gold. 3 coats of Minwax clear-gloss Polycrylic.
