Victoire to the Musée d'Orsay (10 points)

Directions: Your mission is to get Victoire to the Musée d'Orsay as quickly as possible by Métro. Follow the directions below and fill in the blanks with the correct Line Numbers, Line Names, and/or Station Names or Victoire will be lost forever! (Hey, no pressure!)

Victoire will board the Métro at the same station as Luc did in Unité 3: Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre. You will need to guide her to the métro station that is closest to "Le Musée d'Orsay". The name of this station is Solférino. (*Hint: On the map, Solférino is directly south across the River "Seine" from Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre).

Are you ready? GREAT 'cause here we go:

Victoire enters the station, Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre. Victoire's first stop will be Station Name: , which is on Line Number: . She checks the Line Name: , to make certain she is on the right "track"! (*Hint: The name of this line also happens to be the name of the last stop on the line that runs in the direction that Victoire needs to go.)

When she arrives at the first stop, Victoire quickly exits the train. Victoire knows that she needs to switch lines to be able to arrive at her final stop. Once again she looks at the map and discovers that she needs to take Line Number: , Line Name: and ride south two stops to reach Solférino station.

When she arrives at Solférino station she exists and begins the walk to Musée d'Orsay.

Hey, now that wasn't so bad was it? Let's try another one. We need to get Monsieur Charon to the Champs-Élysées. Ready? Here we go again:

Monsieur Charon to the Champs-Élysées (6 points)

Directions: Same as above and remember, if Monsieur Charon gets lost his wife won't get her new perfume and it will be all your fault! Hee, hee!

Monsieur Charon will board the Métro at Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre station too. Monsieur loves to walk the length of the Champs-Élysées from west to east so you will need to guide him to the métro station that is the closest to "Arc de Triomphe". The "Arc" is the furthest western point on the Champs-Élysées. The name of this station is Ch. de Gaulle-Étoile. ("Ch". stands for "Charles". Charles de Gaulle was a president of France). (*Hint: On the map, Ch. de Gaulle-Étoile is west of Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre).

As you can see, this voyage is a piece of cake compared to the last one! Here goes:

Monsieur enters the station, Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre. Monsieur's first stop will be Station Name: , which is on Line Number: . He checks the Line Name: , to make certain he is on the right "track"! (O.K. so it isn't so funny the second time.)

Monsieur is very happy because he doesn't need to switch tracks. When he arrives at Ch. de Gaulle-Étoile station, he exists and begins his stroll eastward up the Champs-Élysées!
