Mindful aging is a web site devoted to seeking thoughtful solutions to the challenges of aging.
 
Although the challenges of aging are numerous, so are the opportunities for growth, change, and creativity.

In our work with older adults who have depression, we have seen first hand how people can take charge of their lives and not only recover from their symptoms, but make positive changes in their lives that are significant and enduring. As a result of this work, we have written a self-help book, Beating the Senior Blues, How to Feel Better and Enjoy Life Again, for older adults, their families, care givers and the professional who work with them.

As you peruse this site, you will see articles by professionals who have unique and vital perspectives on some aspect of aging. In addition, each article will suggest additional resources for you to explore.
