; Fractal visionaries:

; Everyone enjoys the night sky, but those who enjoy fractals enjoy the
; night sky more than most, for when one faces the night sky, that person
; faces the same infinity that exists in every fractal pattern.

; The sky at night is unfathomable space.  It either goes on forever, or
; stops, or, as Einstein hinted, curves back on itself.  All three
; possibilities are beyond imagination.  It is as impossible to know all
; of space as it is to know all of the Mandelbrot set, even in only two of
; its four dimensions.

; Today's fractal is one of my favorites.  It is my vision of the night
; sky as seen through a network of fractal spirals.  It must be drawn at a
; resolution of 1024x768 to be fully appreciated, but even at that
; resolution it's quite fast.
;
; The finished image has been posted to a.b.p.f. and a.f.p. for those who
; would prefer to view it without tying up their computers.
