; For today's fractal I ventured into the land of near-cubic 
; Mandeloids.  I began my quest by checking the broadened west 
; valley of the Z^(3.0001)+C fractal.  What I found there was a 
; land of fine-tooth combs, a small view of which appears in 
; today's image.  I named the image "Fine-Tooth Combs", and rated 
; it at a not-too-impressive 5.

; The FOTD ratings are continuing to slip, so I had best take 
; action.  I have several lines of investigation in mind that I 
; have yet to try, which should bump up the ratings of the next 
; few FOTD's at least a point or two.
