; Today's image is another quick one.  I intentionally chose a 
; quick image in the Mandelbrot set to give myself a chance to get 
; caught up.

; The name of today's image, "Way Out on the Spike", describes the 
; location.  The scene lies in a valley on the north shore line of 
; the 12th bud out the main spike.
; 
; The location is remote enough to earn a rating, in today's case, 
; a rating of an average 5.  The problem preventing a higher 
; rating is that all minibrots out here tend to look the same.  Of 
; course, the problem might also be that I have never searched the 
; area carefully enough.

; The calculation time of 2-3/4 minutes is already fast enough, 
; but the image may be seen even faster by surfing to the FOTD web
