; Today's image is a scene lying very deep in the north shore line 
; of the main bay of the Mandelbrot set, just west of the large

; Yes, I realize that it is a spiral, and I'm not supposed to like 
; spirals, but the image is worth at least one quick glance.

; The name "In-Depth Examination" refers to the image's magnitude 
; of 6*(10^28).  That same magnitude makes the image a slow one 
; however, so don't expect instant gratification if you decide to 
; run the parameter file.

; I could rate the image no higher than a 7-1/2, since it lies in 
; the Mandelbrot set, the most over-explored of all fractals.  The 
; rating of a 7-1/2 includes 1/2 point for my coloring effort.  
; Perhaps I should have rewarded myself only 1/4 point.  On second 
; glance the coloring appears to be not all that great.
