; Today's scene lies in Seahorse Valley of a minibrot that lies in 
; the East Valley of a larger but still tiny minibrot far out on 
; the main spike of the Mandelbrot set.  The image shares both 
; Seahorse Valley and Elephant Valley characteristics.

; I named the image "Fractal Marmalade" because of the original 
; coloring, which has been changed toward the green side since I 
; coined the name.  The rating of a 7 is about average for these 
; deep images, but the necessary slowness holds things down a bit.

; Heavy clouds and occasional rain spoiled Wednesday here at 
; Fractal Central.  The temperature of 75F 24C was comfortable 
; enough, but with the rain falling, who cared.  The fractal cats 
; grabbed a couple quick glances of the outside conditions before 
; settling to sleep for most of the day, while the humans made it 
; through the day with only a few minor hangups.  The next FOTD 
; will be posted in 24 hours.  It will be another scene deep in
