; Mandelbrot set, what might a quartic infestation produce?  Today 
; we find out.

; The parent fractal is an oversized Mandelbrot set that has been 
; rotated 180 degrees and is starting to take on quartic 
; characteristics.  Today's scene is actually located inside the 
; large period-2 bud along the positive X-axis, where the stuff 
; that will eventually transform the whole fractal into a quartic 
; one is just starting to condense.

; I named the image "Blue Quartic Dreams".  It kind of fits the 
; image, and I could think of nothing better.

; The rating of a 7-1/2 is getting to be a habit, but if we're 
; going to get stuck on a single rating, it is best for the rating

; Heavy clouds and a fresh blanket of snow brought a feeling of
