; Today's image, which resembles a minibrot with a necklace of 
; jewels, came about when I combined Z^1.5 with half as much Z^3 
; and added straight C on each iteration.  This parent fractal 
; consists of two well-separated Mandelbrot sets connected by a 
; broad strait, with the northeast area of the main bay of one 
; connected to the southeast area of the main bay of the other.  
; The math energies in the connected parts of the minibrots are 
; mirror images, so they blend harmoniously.

; The inner details of the two Mandelbrot sets are what would be 
; expected in the same areas of the classic Mandelbrot set.  But 
; the strait connecting them, where today's image lies, holds 
; totally new stuff.

; I named the image "Rough Diamonds".  The name was inspired by 
; the sparkling jewel-like areas surrounding the central minibrot, 
; which remind me of diamonds.

; The rating of a 7-1/2 includes a half point for the coloring.  
; Without the effort I put into the coloring, the image would be 
; nothing.

; The calculation time of 50 seconds is unusually fast, leaving no 
; time for impatience to raise its fidgety head.  Of course, it is
