; Today's image, a scene in one of the infinity of Z^(1.5)+C 
; Mandeloids, rates an 8, in my opinion.  The parent fractal is a 
; lumpy thing.  It has a large minibrot lying in a field of debris 
; just southwest of its main body.  This minibrot vaguely 
; resembles a Mandelbrot set with its west half cut off and two 
; East Valleys instead of one.  Today's image lies in one of the 
; two East Valleys of this minibrot.

; The rating of an 8, which includes a full point for the 
; coloring, might be a bit too liberal for an image with such a 
; dark aura.  The rating is based mostly on the effect of 
; sunlight breaking through dark clouds, though the 'sun' is 
; actually only a minibrot.

; The name "Ominous Foreboding" expresses the dark, threatening 
; feeling that the image somehow brings.

; unusually pleasant end-of-February day here at Fractal Central.  
; The fractal cats, who never worry about the outdoor conditions, 
; were quite happy with the weather, and spent most of the 
; afternoon stretched out in the sun on their shelf.  With too 
; much repetitious things to do, we humans rarely get to stretch 
; out in the sun.  We spent the day doing stuff too ordinary to be 
; worth mentioning.
