These ; elements have been caught in the act of shifting from the Z^2 ; series to the Z^19 series, and cannot decide exactly which ; course to take. ; ; More confusion arises in the maxiter of the image elements, ; which is lowest in the peak of the brilliant orange area in the ; upper-left quadrant and highest in the lower right. ; ; The rating of a 7-1/2 includes 1/2 point for the extra effort I ; put into the coloring. The extra effort was needed to bring the ; colors to a reasonable GIF-type smoothness. ; ; The calculation time of 2-1/2 minutes will simply fly by if you ; have something else to occupy your attention while the image is ; building on the screen. ; ; To avoid the inconvenience of setting up and running the ; included parameter file, the finished image is posted for ; instant viewing on the official FOTD web site at: ; ; ; ; The image is posted in outstanding high-definition at: ; ; ; ; All the thousands of past images and discussions are available ; at: ; ; ; ; A blue summer-like sky filled with puffy white cumulus clouds, ; and a summer-like temperature of 73F 23C, made the first day ; of spring here at Fractal Central feel more like the start of ; summer than the start of spring. We heard no complaints from ; the fractal cats, who enjoyed the conditions to the utmost. ; ; The humans made it through another day without notable incident, ; which is more difficult than it appears, especially considering ; the nature of the world. The next FOTD will be posted in 24 ; hours. Until then, take care, and keep searching for ultimate ; reality, but be ready to recognize and accept it when you find ; it. It might not be what you wanted and hoped to find. ; ; ; Jim Muth ; jimmuth@earthlink.net ; ; ; START PARAMETER FILE======================================= Mass_Confusion { ; time=0:02:30.00 SF5 at 2000MHZ reset=2004 type=formula formulafile=basicer.frm formulaname=MultiExp function=recip passes=1 center-mag=+270.7173143400368/-18.1242180175881/\ 2.813776e+010/1.0275/147.5/0 params=19/900 float=y maxiter=1800 inside=0 logmap=216 periodicity=6 mathtolerance=0.05/1 colors=000zzzzzxzzwzyuzxszwqzvozumztjzsgzrdzqazp`z\ o`zn`zm_zm_zm_zmZzmZzmZzmYzmYzmXzmYzmYzmYzmYzmYzmY\ zmZymZxnZwoZvpZuqZtrZss_rs`qs`psaosbnsbmscltcktdjt\ ehtegtfetfdtgcthauh`uiZuiYujXukVukUtlUrpTqlTodSmYS\ kQRiJRgBRe4Pc6Oa8N_AMXBKUDJSFIPGHNIGLKFJMFHNEFPDDR\ BCT9BU9AW98Y87Y76Z65`66`58_6A_8C_9E_BG_CIYEKXFMWGO\ VIQUJSTLURMWQOYPP`OQbNSeMThKVjJWlIYnHZoG_nFYmKWkPU\ iUSgZQecOchMamK_rIYvHWvGUvGSvGSuHTuHUuIWuIXtIYtJ_t\ J`tKbtKcsKdsLfsLgsLhsZMGYOFYPEYQDYSCYTBXUAXV9XX8XY\ 7XZ6X_5Zb6_d6af6bh7dj7el7gn8hp8ls6ir8gr9eqAcqBapD_\ pEXoFVoGTnIRnJPmKExHNmLVcPbUTcUVcUWcUYcUZcU_dUadUb\ dUddUedUfeUheUieUkeUldSneUmfVmgWmgYmhZmi_mialjblkc\ lkellflmglmhlnjhnkdnmaonYopVoqRrsNsrOtrPurPvrQwqRx\ qRyqSzqSzpTzpUzpUzpVzpVzoXzoYznZzn_zm`zmazmbzlczld\ zkfzkgzjhzjizjjzikzilzhmzhnzirzhozhmzhjzhhzhezhczh\ `zhZzhWzhUzhSzfTzdTzbUz`U } frm:MultiExp { ; Jim Muth z=(0,0), c=pixel, a=-(real(p1)-2), b=imag(p1)+0.00000000000000000001: z=z*z*fn1(z^(a)+b)+c |z| < 100000000 } ; END PARAMETER FILE========================================= ; ; ; ; _______________________________________________ ; Fractint mailing list ; Fractint@mailman.xmission.com ; http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fractint ;
