; There is no FOTD for June 16.  The reason is the usual.  An 
; antiquing expedition erupted on the 16th, which left no time for 
; fractaling.

; Today's image is a rather quick one.  It's not great, but still 
; worth the measly 35 seconds required to calculate it.

; The scene lies in the same area of the same Julibrot that gave 
; us the image for June 15.

; I named the image "Broken Seven" because it reminds me of the 
; roman numeral 'VII' with the two I's misplaced horizontally 
; below the 'V'.

; Most of the effect is created by the coloring, which I did 
; almost automatically, making the orangish 'V' and I's stand out 
; prominently against the dark blue background.  They stand out 
; well enough, but the very basic neophyte-level palette holds 
; down the rating.

; Mostly sunny skies and a temperature of 79F 26C made today a 
; near perfect Fathers' Day here at Fractal Central, where there 
; are no fathers.  The fractal cats, who couldn't care less about 
; fatherhood, had a good time demolishing the cube complex we set 
; up for them.  Meanwhile, the humans had a good time doing 
; nothing.  The next FOTD will be posted in the near future.
