; The day began with snow here at Fractal Central.  The snow fell 
; at a moderate rate all morning before slacking off and ending 
; just after noon.  The 'official' FC measurement was 3-1/2 inches 
; or 9mm.  When the snow ended, the afternoon temperature rose to 
; 37F +3C, which melted about half the ice.

; The fractal cats spent the morning watching the big sloppy 
; flakes fall, and the afternoon sleeping.  I spent a half hour in 
; the afternoon clearing slush from the walkway, while FL took
