; Today's image shows the mysterious rectangle in the Julia sets 
; corresponding to the fractured Seahorse Valley of the 
; Z^(2.003)+C Mandelbrot set.  To add excitement to the scene, I 
; have offset the slice ever so slightly in the imag(c) direction. 
; This slight aberration fills the rectangle with debris, breaks 
; up the surrounding features and also rotates the rectangle a few 
; degrees.
; 
; Since no one will be around to check ratings after the world 
; ends next Friday, I gave the image no rating.  The name "Nine to 
; Doomsday" needs no explanation.  The big day is but nine days 
; off.  The image calculation time of 1-2/3 minutes is blessedly 
; fast.  After all, with the remaining time so limited, we don't 
; want to waste a single second.
