; Today's image is a scene in Seahorse Valley.  It looks nothing 
; at all like the Seahorse Valley scenes we are so familiar with 
; because it is sliced in an odd direction -- rotated 30 degrees 
; from the Julia toward the Rectangular orientation.

; While viewing the image, (and hopefully enjoying it), the viewer 
; might wonder where Seahorse Valley is located in the frame.  
; Actually, the valley has gone nowhere.  The image is immersed in 
; it.  Everything in the scene is a part of the valley.

; The detail in the arch was supplied by the 'tdis' outside 
; coloring option, which colors the points according to how far 
; they travel before finally escaping.
; 
; I named the image "Un-natural Arch" because of the prominent 
; arch that fills the frame.  It almost reminds me of a week or so 
; I spent in Saint Louis quite a few years ago.

; The rating of an 8 might be a bit excessive.  But then again, 
; what is the penalty for padding a rating.
; 
; The calculation time of 4 minutes is slower than ideal, but the 
; web sites are always available to make life more efficient.

; The day began with snow here at Fractal Central, but a rising 
; temperature changed to snow to rain before noon.  Occasional 
; rain continued the rest of the day, making a slushy mess of the 
; area.  The fractal cat took one look out the window and decided 
; to settle down by the heat.  The humans had enough inside stuff 
; to finish to keep their minds off the outside weather.
