; Today's scene shows a minibrot in an oversized parent Mandelbrot 
; set that has been corrupted in its depths by Z^9 energies.  The 
; location is in the center of the north branch of Seahorse Valley 
; of the large minibrot on the main spike of the parent M-set.

; But no minibrot lies at the center of the frame.  What we see 
; there is a stretched-out slit with almost nothing of a Mandel-
; brot or Julia nature about it.  The name of the image -- "At the 
; Wrong Angle" -- explains the problem.  We are viewing the scene 
; from the wrong angle.  We are viewing it from some monstrous 
; unimaginable angle in the fourth dimension.
; 
; To bring the large-scale pattern to near perfection, the entire 
; image has been stretched and skewed to the limit, yet except at 
; the center, the stretching is hardly noticeable.

; The image earns a rating of an 8 even though it did appear 
; several years ago in a slightly modified form.
; 
; The parameter file runs in 4-1/3 minutes.  Hopefully, with such 
; extreme stretching and skewing, it will run accurately on all 
; machines.  (But it sometimes gives me trouble even on the 
; machine that created it.)

; flurries of snow, a brisk north wind and a temperature of 36F

; chief.  The humans simply made it through the day.
