; Today's image is an almost-Julia set of the X-axis at the 
; western extremity of the (-Z)^(1.55)+C Mandeloid.  It's almost 
; a Julia set because it is double-rotated 0.01,0.01 degree from 
; the true Julia orientation.  (To see the true Julia version, 
; change the (p1) and (p2) parameters to 90.)

; I might have rated the image a point or so higher if there were 
; not so many similar tree-like images in FOTD history.  As it is, 
; the rating of a solid 7 is perfectly average.  The name "Another 
; of the Trees" indicates my dis-satisfaction with a fractal theme 
; that is becoming hackneyed.

; The calculation time of 4 minutes is rather slow, and I'm not 
; sure the image is worth the wait.  This is where the web sites 
; become a blessing in disguise.

; Spring was in full bloom here at Fractal Central today as the 
; temperature reached 72F 22C and the sky remained nearly 
; cloudless.  The fractal cat enjoyed his appointed time in the 
; sun on his shelf, though with the sun now at an increasingly 
; high angle it is missing the back edge of the shelf.  The humans 
; passed the day working and sometimes pondering the pathetic 
; state of our 'modern' culture.

; whenever, take care, and what will we do when the internet is 
; turned off by the same dark forces that created it and then were
