; Today's image is a scene in one of the Z^(1.02)+C parent 
; fractals.  Since the complex logarithm is multi-valued, there 
; are multiple fractals the expression can create.  Most of these 
; fractals are over-sized torpedo-shaped things, though only some 
; have the interesting fractal semi-chaos along their edges.  
; Today's scene lies in a bit of this semi-chaos along the 
; southwest shore line of its parent.
; 
; This parent fractal is unusual in that it has a small island-arc 
; of debris lying inside its main bay, totally disconnected from 
; the nearest shore.  I have not yet checked this island, though 
; at first glance it appears relatively unpromising.
; 
; The name "Not Quite Linear" describes the generating expression. 
; The rating of 7-1/2 is about average.  I did put a little extra 
; effort into the coloring, though it is debatable whether my work 
; made much of an improvement.

; If you run the parameter file, do not be concerned if nothing 
; appears on the screen for a minute or two.  The top inch or so 
; of the image is a flat color.
; 
; With a calculation time of 12 minutes, the image is a slow one.

; temperature of 59F 15C.  The fractal cat ignored the weather,
