She departed England from Liverpool on the "Samuel Curling" 22 Apr 1855; Arrived in New York 22 May 1855; continued by rail to Pittsburgh, then by steamboat on the rivers, via St. Louis, Missouri, to Atchison, Kansas. She started on her trek westward on the 26th of July 1855 in the Charles A. Harper Company and arrived in the Valley of the Great Salt Lake the 28th of October 1855. She died 29 Jan 1859, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, UT, USA and was buried 1 Feb 1859, City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, UT, USA. She was the daughter of Samuel Pilley.

Samuel PILLEY
